depending on the season portugal has surf all year round.you may have to travel to either the algarve or north portugal but there is so much on offer. From all types of waves to great campsites and culture.
portugal holds some of the best waves in the world like 'supertubos' (1st image)
and further down the coast in the algarve there and great waves for beginners and experienced surfers. 'Arrifana' (2nd image) is a great surfing spot and has a great atmosphere and locals.

Most flock to the caribbean coast when visiting mexico but the pacific is what it is all about.
'Sayulita' (3rd image) is a great little town with great bars, cafes and a beautiful surf spot. This is a perfect wave for beginners, and fun for experienced surfer.
the water temperatures are high and the locals are friendly.
The surrounding area is very picturesque and there is a really nice chilled vibe about the place. Accommodation is cheap and a cream cheese, salmon and cucumber bagel will cost you £1. happy days.
