This fall, Karan’s answer is one that combines languidness, structure, and a touch of raw texture. Her vision is one of an urban warrior, with occasional emphasis on warrior. Colors were black followed by earthy browns and shades of granite and stone.
"In the mid ‘80s, Donna Karan came up with a concept called
SEVEN EASY PIECES
which was just that – the foundation for a working woman’s wardrobe, simple and innovative, based on the black stretch jersey bodysuit. This collection revisited it."
